The Client

OVERSEAS AST, a UAE based company with a diverse multinational workforce of more than 1800 personnel, is an internationally renown company with activities in the field of Civil, Construction, Building, Marine Engineering & Mechanical Pipelines including the construction of Harbours, Marinas, Power plants, Jetties, Wharfs, High Quality Buildings, Steel Fabrications, Maintenance and Corrosion Protection of off shore installations. Operating in the UAE, they pride themselves on a tradition of quality construction practices brought about by adhering to the highest ethical and professional standards. Due to securing major projects, they are seeking to fill many permanent positions.

The Position

·     Providing contractual and commercial support to projects covering Submission of monthly applications for payment to Clients

·     Pricing & negotiating variations

·     Agreeing final accounts

·     Managing Subcontractors including tenders; analysing tenders and appointing subcontractors dealing with their monthly applications for payment, agreeing variations final accounts

·     Preparing monthly internal cost versus value reports, cash flow projections

The Candidate

·         Degree in Civil Engineering or Diploma in Quantity Surveying Management

·         Minimum 5 years experience in contract management/administration, including at least 3 years in engineering and/or construction industries.

·         Experience of FIDIC. Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (R.I.C.S) an advantage
